MULTIDiSABLED I LIVED HOMeLESS for 8 YEARS with the act. 

fianlly found an attorney from 1000 miles away got me into not accessible parking etc.sect 8 housing OR MIGHT HAVE LOST VOUCHER for anohter year fight AGAIN

since no furnishings reality was first weeks pay rent and sleep in car at night.

 i have two bed qualify for liveiinaide workingon buying furnishings enough to  get someone decent willing for free rent only.before they toss me out for not having one.

unless your in ONE OF The WELL LOBBIED GROUPS and with parents with money  to infuse undeclared income.

there are no miracles .

THERe ARE NO SUPPORT PROGRAMS doing what they should. for most of us.

CA is cutting  state supplements to ssi dollars

a fed judge just stopped them form cutting medical

and ca ranks near last on  individual charitable giving for those earn over 100k per year.

CA HASNT BEEN PROGRESSIVE FOR YEARS.

and if you llnotive mostly far right is getting teh  big non profit funds 

MOST TRANSITIONAL SHELTERS DO NOT TAKE DISABLED OR HAVE APPROPRIATE PROGRAMS.

just READ TEH SHeLTER INFO WORKING WIHTIN 30 DAYS  SUBSTANCE ABUSE RECOVERY ETC. 

INSTITUTION HORRIBLE dead end BOARD AnD CARE  OR THE ROAD IS THE CHOICE FOR MOST  ca DISABLED.

MANY FOLKS CANT AFFoRD TO OWN A HOME GOT SUCKED IN  AND ARE now PAYING THE PRICE.

EVEN IF YOU COULD PAY YOUR OTHER BILLS,  

YOU LIKELY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH INCOME ON SSI OR SSDI TO MAINTAIN the A HOME long term KEEP IT INSURED  AND PAY LOANS. 

SOME PEOPLE STRUGGLE - IN  USED MOBLIE HOMES ON SSA PROGRAMS. 

UNLESS there is an agency to buy it for you like on those tv programs..

dreaming of owning a home living below poverty level and without working isn't realistic.

be careful what your asking for. 

did you get help?

with all govt agencies across the usa .

Go there. arrive first one in the am.

do not waste a call - unless your calling a board of supervisors to say your not getting access, correct care, etc.

(if you got good help in louisiana you were of the lucky few!)

 WHY ISNT THE SCHOOL HELPING? COORDINATION OF CARE SEEMS TO BE FAILING TOO!

i jsut ended homless for 8 years with mulitple disblities on most severe list as determioned of vocational  rehab. 

SO PLAN ON  A TOUGH ROAD. 

EVERY ONE who does charity IS STREtCHED TO THE LIMIT,. There should be local church groups  or other non profits that help outside the govt.

BUT ALSO -see if there is a homEless prevention group at the local govt city/county.

and get on the shelter lists now- tell them you will be homeless - as there are long waits.

A COUNTY HOMELESS PREVENTION AGENCY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHOW SUPPORT AS YOU ARE NOT PART OF ENABLING THE ALCOHOLISM AND BAD ACTS ANYMORE.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE FORMAL DIVORCE PAPERS in process LANDLORDS MAY TRUST IT WILL STAY THIS WAY. 

IF YOUR DAD WILL COSIGN MAYBE HE CAN APPLY BE ACCEPTED RENT THE PLACE AND THEN  YOU ARE ADDED AS THE ROOMATES. IT WOULD BE HARD FOR THEM TO JUSTIFY A TURN DOWN ONCE THEY ACCEPT HIM!

 IVE BEEN HOMELESS MULIT DISaBLED 8 YEARS JUST GOT A PLACE NBUT NO$ LEFT FOR  FOOD THIS MONTH AND MORE STILL .TO DEAL WITH... IM SITTING IN STARBUCKS ALL DAY STILL TO  SAVE ON HEAT AND GET WIFI ACCESS.

ITS MEAN OUT THERE . Lots of times you need to go through a transitional shelter program to get the agency help. It's not nice in most of those programs..but considering nothing is really free rule... for that  "price" they should help get you to where you want to go.  

also being an active  pArt of ACA OR AL-ANON  or therapy -SHOWING YOUR  working hard to permanently turn around  THE THE DISASTER THAT WAS IN YOUR PAST so as not tot be repeated may HELP.

MORE PROOF ...... SUBSTANCE ABUSE RUINS MANY LIVES..........

I HOPE U R INVOLVED WITH  OBAMA FOR AMERICA AND CHANGE .ORG AND THE LOCAL DEMOCRAT GROUPS WHO NEED SUPPORT  IN ORDER TO STOP GOP CUTS TO SUPPORTS THAT ARE  HELPING PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
